Growing up, we learned from observing those around us, absorbing their movements, and understanding cause and effect. As we grew to a place where we chose Christ for ourselves through the institute of Christianity, the rules of religion often emphasized performance over the beauty of relationship and synchronicity with Holy Spirit, and many absorbed that too.
Trusting God won't seem easy, if we have been taught to see Him as strict, punishing and unyielding. The truth is, God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit are one, with the same nature and they are all loving and nurturing. Trusting in their love allows us to feel safe, just like holding hands with a good parent and a trustworthy friend.
Importance of Holy Spirit in self-discovery:
When you recognize that you are operating apart from Holy Spirit, you'll feel misaligned within yourself on your self-discovery journey. It is through Holy Spirit that God's true nature and your original design are revealed. There can be no alignment without this vital partnership and friendship.
In the process of self-discovery, Holy Spirit serves as the illuminating force, walking with you as a spotlight to help you uncover the depths of your original design and God's plan for your life. Without this divine partnership, you may wander aimlessly, unsure of purpose and feeling disconnected from God and your authentic self.
As I embraced this relationship with Holy Spirit, I learned to yield to His instruction and exchange my plans with curiosity about Their plans for me. In the process, I discovered that many of the desires in my heart were placed there by Them.
In the past, I feared giving up what I loved, assuming it didn't align with God's desires. But getting to know Their heart showed me otherwise. I realized the burden of making decisions alone compared to the peace of leaning on Holy Spirit for guidance was unmatched. No where near comparable.
When I stepped out of sync, I felt the weight of life's circumstances. But by inviting Holy Spirit as my guide, my help and partner, the burden shifted from my shoulders to Theirs. There's a tangible peace in knowing that His yoke is easy, and His instructions never fail.
As you open your heart to Holy Spirit's influence, you'll experience a profound transformation. Your perceptions will shift, and you'll perceive life through a new lens of love and understanding. This deep connection with Holy Spirit enables you to step into your true identity and embrace the authentic and fulfilling life God has destined for you.
Remember, true alignment comes when you let Holy Spirit take the lead, revealing the beauty of God's design within you. Embrace this sacred partnership, and you'll find yourself walking in sync with the divine rhythm of life.
If life feels overwhelming, consider if you've strayed from sync with Holy Spirit. Invite Him back into all the details of your life, ask for His help, and surrender to the peace and lightness of His best friendship and partnership.
